Questions to ask before renting
- Does the provider permit your intended hypervisor and workloads?
- Do you have the required hardware virtualization access and an appropriate Linux environment?
- What rescue console and reinstall options are available?
- How are VM addresses, routing and firewall rules expected to work?
- Where will off-server backups live, and how will you test restoration?
- Who owns updates, monitoring and incident response?
Obtain answers for the exact plan and region you are considering. These questions do not certify a host or recommend changing its configuration.
Svavyom compatibility is limited
Svavyom is tested on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, x86_64, with KVM and libvirt. Other distributions, architectures and guests are untested, and the product warns when a host has not been qualified. It is not for production workloads.
